Looking for a way to complete the Tell Tales side quest...
The Tell Tales side quest tells me to go to the Pensive Pond and bring the fishing tackles.
But before the quest showed up, I already went to the pond and picked up the fishing tackles and threw them away. (tried to find where but no idea)
If I can get any other tackles somewhere else and bring them onto the pond, the side quest will complete?
But still, I don't know where I can get it in this vast map. I can't even craft them because I have no lines.
Please somebody tell me the location of tackles on the map.

Well, you may have to get some guts from animals you killed or found laying dead, let them sit and cure, and then craft the lines at a workbench, then craft some hooks from scrap metal, then craft the fishing tackle, if you can't find where you discarded the ones you had before. You are playing Wintermute Story Mode, correct? If Jeremiah has given you the Survival School quest to catch fish, the recipes for each should be unlocked in your crafting menu to craft at a workbench, if you are in Episode 2. If you are talking about Tall Tales in Episode 3, Astrid should have learned the recipes after reading the book that unlocks the side quest.

Why did you throw them out? Fishing tackle can also be used to repair clothing and your bedroll- it isn't only good for fishing. And they are very lightweight and don't add much to your total carny weight.

In Story Mode you can also load an earlier save before you tossed the fishing tackle out. You will have to replay some of the episode, but you won't have to go try to find where you tossed the fishing tackle and you won't have to deal with crafting line , hooks, and tackle. It's been a while since I played Wintermute, and I don't remember if there are other guaranteed places to find new fishing tackle, and no one knows where you have already searched and looted- it will not show up in containers you have already searched.

I threw them out thinking I won't fish again. Didn't know there were more use to them. I'm curing the guts. Thanks for the information. Didn't expect you can make lines from the guts.

No problem. There's multiple ways to do things- and Story Mode is a good way to learn them without losing a permadeath Survival Mode run.
When the guts reach 100% cured, you can take them to a workbench and craft line from them, and move on with the side quest.
