Overall I found the zone kind of boring once finished with Buried Echoes. I agree that the zone could use a forge.
Exploring the structures is REALLY good, and very enjoyable though.
its just the rest of the map you have a big pit that you cant go into without dieing and all these yellow stains on half the map that ruin the atmosphere at least to me.
Beyond that you can skirt around the edges but it just feels like HRV yeah in the way that there are no buildings or vehicles or anything you would need to form a sort of lasting base.
I'll have to try a single map run on interloper but stalker start is a joke, there is no challenge whatsoever. Spawn, walk to mine, receive bow, gun, 43900 calories of food, late game tier clothing, ect.
I'm not sure how many others would agree with me, but to fix this map for me all that is needed is a lookout tower somewhere in the surrounding hills that has a bed and a wood stove.
