Crampons glitch
Hello guys!

I just occurred a weird problem. So I'm playing custom " hardcore Deadman" challenge (everything good on low, everything bad on high/ very high, no HP Regen). I finally got to the Gold Mine in the AC. Got my tech backpack and crampons. I slept inside. Woke up next morning, put crampons on, left the mine, approached the rope and.... Nothing changed. I tried alt+F4 few times to try different approach, switched crampons on and off, right and left socket, with other buffs and without- nothing. Sure footing is showing up, but climbing the rope is the same with or without crampons. I played this mode before and I got to this point before I it was working last time. Am I missing something? Did any of you guys have the same issue? Is it possible to disable benefits from crampons in settings and I just forgot about it?

Anyone who played this custom settings know how brutal it is, and crampons buff is very very important. I need to fix it!

I only play vanilla Pilgrim and do not see any particular effect when climbing with crampons other than a reduction in the rate of decline in the sprint (climbing) meter while doing so. The rate of decline in the fatigue meter seems to remain the same with or without crampons.

Not sure what you're not seeing while climbing with crampons equipped.

Good luck.

That's exactly what I'm mostly concerned about. This stamina/ sprint meter. It allows basically to climb a long rope without pausing, and it increases the speed of climbing. That's what I'm hoping to see and I'm not seeing, sadly.

I never thought that crampons increased speed of climbing. If it did I never noticed it.

Crampons
adds 1 sec when walking on breakable ice,
reduce the stamina loss when climbing ropes (not the tiredness meter, the stamina one) allowing to climb long ropes in one go instead of resting on a ledge
and reduce the risk of sprains when going up or down stiff areas.
