At least my experiences from the latest blizzard combing were overwhelming: woollen underpants, half-condition hatchet, four broken arrows and one intanct, some shoes, rifle cartridges and cloth. And painkillers.
Ofc I'm playing on stalker, so all of this stuff can spawn. Imo it's been either just really bad luck, or its based on your difficulty level.
I remember when it was first introduced the amount of salvage I got while in Desolation Point was pretty astounding. Then it was tuned and the yield of stuff fell to so poor that I didn't bother until Bleak Inlet which had fair to good beachcombing results from the spots where beachcombing debris would appear.
In two Interloper games, one old, one new, i found the same in the Fishing boat - saw only once in each game.
Usually is Rotten fish, deer or wolf carcass, firewood, painkillers, cloth piece, eventually a cat tail or Birch bark and sometimes a low tier clothing piece in suitcase.
Lockers and boxes always empty.
Anyway beachcombing it's a good pastime for latter gamer, but PITA in early game, specially if rotten fish cause FP.
My plan in the latest Interloper game spawned in DP was stay in CH, but don't find hammer there so need go search in PV, and return then again for pick the bedroll - forget in the first time.
But drop this plan of stay in CH-DP because:
- Don't find mag glass
- The fishing hut near Fishing Village don't have door, so are in the visual of the wolf in the pier.
- The wolf in Jackrabbit are patrolling at right of the house, not at left as usually, tricky get there with fish.
