Can't Find Hammer on Interloper

I started a new Interloper run after the new DLC update and have rigorously searched every key location in Bleak Inlet, Mystery Lake, Coastal Highway, Pleasant Valley, Desolation Point, Forlorn Muskeg, Ash Canyon, Broken Railroad, Ravine, and Mountain Town and have not found a single hammer. I've searched each house and trailer top to bottom with a torch and still nothing. At this stage in all my previous runs I would have easily found 2-3 hammers. I'm worried at this point no hammer spawned and my Interloper run is ruined.

You may have missed one in broken railroad maintenance shed where the forge is.
It's not supposed to spawn there, but has been since the update, it's been found in a few different places inside.

You definitely have to keep your eyes open wider since the update, lots of important tools (hacksaw and hammer) are spawning in *similar* locations to before the update, but slightly better hidden.

Example : Magnifying lens can be found sitting in the snow under a bench in mystery lake at the houses across the lake from the camp office.
Hammers can be found in the snow outside trailers in various locations in CHW
Hacksaws found underneath tables / fixtures that are otherwise just non interactable models.

I'm almost certain I checked that fishing hut including under the fireplace, but could be mistaking it for another run. I'll have to check again. Searched the entirety of the maintenance shed without any hammer. I've found plenty of magnifying lens and plenty of other tools, just no hammer.

I really didn't want to go to HRV without a bow and knife but I might have to. Only location I haven't searched besides Blackrock.

I unexpectedly found a hammer in a radio hut on Signal Hill under the shelf on which TV is placed. Also one was in the small barn with hay in PV behind the fire barrel. Both were well hidden.

You have to go to the lit signal fire (2 possible locations).
As long as you have a bedroll or know where to find bed and have a few torches to scare away wolves, it's doable without weapon.

ML has a guaranteed Hammer no matter the spawn, just the location within ML is random, so you must have missed it. There's a loot table sheet if you need the exact locations.

The barn one can be easy to miss, as it's all the way upstairs at the end of the walkway after the crafting bench, in between 2 cardboard boxes.

Checked all those locations as well unfortunately :( Maybe missed it in the barn, will have to check again

It's up to date with 2.08, which removed some spawns (such as HRV maglens). Do you know which loot table you are? I could double check for hammer in ML.

No I'm not sure unfortunately. I'll have to check those locations again when I go back

Finally found one! It was in the barn in PV on a shelf downstairs. Thanks everyone for the help :)
