Interloper vets I need your advice!
The new cooking etc enticed me to start a new run, the first since 2017 so i'm a bit rusty, to say the least!!

-Started in DP and quickly looted main places on my way to CH.
- Spent few days in CH and got lucky + found hacksaw but no hammer so moved on to ML grabbing saplings on the way.
- Found hammer in trappers so went FM forge and got my craft on
- I went back to ML, crafted bow and killed the bear at trappers and then a moose rolled up so killed that too for the satchel.

I'm on day 19 currently about to craft the deer and rabbit clothes then the bear coat in a day or two, but what do I do now?? Do I go up Timberwolf Mountain? (only ever climbed once) Or go get the crampons and backpack from Ash Canyon? ( I have never been there) Or do I just stay here in ML with my abundance of food until i can craft the satchel and just hone my skills?

I don't know a lot of maps well (none that came out within the last 6 years lol ) and don't really know what order to do things in so any advice would be appreciated :) Cheers

I usually do a quick Ash Canyon trip, via the three rope route, for the technical backpack and crampons before doing the summit. The sooner you can get to the summit the better as the loot hasn't degraded. Make sure you have plenty of coffees to get up the ropes and pick up all the sticks you can to make fires as it's very cold. Take a toolkit and a piece of metal to repair your hacksaw as it soon gets worn out opening all those crates. Good luck.

What does this mean? Im playing interloper near day 600. I'm in HRV (I saved it for last) and I just saw all my rock caches but 1 are gone!!! If I go back to my other locations will everything be gone?!

What kind a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug is this?!

Thanks for the tips! My bag is packed with the essentials and i'll decide which one to do first when i reach TWM!

I have had this, but in trappers I got the red crate with my stuff back but in the fishing hut i stored boat load of sticks, fir and cedar with fishing lines, lures etc that has all gone :(

Pretty gutted cause I collected them early on when I had good weather for a couple of days!

I like to head to AC to collect the backpack, then summit on the way back to forging. But usually I haven't got a hammer to forge first like you have. I consider the backpack to be the best item in the game honestly, because I like stuff and being able to carry more of it.

visite bunker in eash zone it can help you warm sleep and maybe you find full loot in the bunker

I try to get the bow before heading to AC / TWM as being able to hunt makes it much easier. So I go DP/CH/CL/MT/FM first, by then I probably have hammer & craft arrows, make bow. Then to TWM and straight to AC via the gully. You can get up to Homesteaders cabin via hugging the rock face without rope (dont use if you think that's a hack, but its possible), then up to the mine via formans retreat. Get backpack then back the way I came but split off to high meadow and down to anglers den. From there I take the other exit to TWM via Pilars footrest that brings you out about half way up to the plane crash.

I do it that way as its nice to go up the top with the extra carry weight and if you hunt along the way you can pick up the well fed bonus to.

I don't bother with deer, wolf or bear clothes until I after come back down as you get enough in CL/MT etc first. I also don't go to Blackrock/Bleak Inlet until later due to the wolves and the Airfield is a bit empty on Interloper at the moment so you really need to be a bit more prepared for that.

Yeah it's been such a help getting the bow early on, i'd be dead by now. The moose meat really helped and allowed me to get other stuff done and not worry about food.

Although i'm just coming back down from the mine and haven't needed the bow in AC yet as i done the 3 rope route like someone suggested and the only thing i've fought so far is 2 blizzards. But the bow did allow me to get the moose satchel for the journey and got 3 bear, 3 wolves, and few deer and rabbits all curing up in ML and PV whilst I'm out in the unknown getting lost. ( if I make it back! )

I'm trying to resist the urge to use the online maps as most of this is new to me and like to discover stuff on my own first time around but did briefly look at AC cause I got scared in the first blizzard and thought it was the end haha
