Annoying wolves with fire hardened arrows.

I was out on Mystery Lake at a fishing hut cooking up a bear I shot when wolves started coming in because of all the raw meat I was harvesting when I got curious... what would happen if I shot them with the fire hardened arrows?

If you hit them the arrows seem to break but you do get archery xp and the wolves run off for a while. I had a bunch of the arrows so I just annoyed the wolves while I cooked. It was kind of fun.

I don't know how much archery xp it is compared to hitting them with a regular arrow but xp is xp and fire hardened arrows are basically free as sticks and crow feathers are really easy to come by. One of the arrows hit a wolf right in the face and it bounced really high. I think I found a new mini game to play while trying to survive.

One hit is one XP, just like crafting one arrow is one XP. So if you want to be lvl 5 archery without ever shooting anything just craft 250 arrows.

No, you can annoy the wolves with the fire-hardened arrows for archery xp and to make them run off. Fire-hardened arrows are cheap so it won't cost a regular arrow, or bullets to scare off wolves. Plus its kind of fun.
