why is the survival edition 4 times more expensive ?

Why is the survival edition $1400 when the 'base' edition is $389?

does the survival edition have more stuff than the normal edition of the game?

why does it have such a drastic price change too?

if the survival version has more content to the survival gameplay, i would gladly get it (mind you, with a MASSIVE discount considering the price difference)
but is there such a thing as extra survival content?

Something does not look right in the currency conversion on that site. Survival edition does not include the Wintermute story and is less in US dollars than the Long Dark base game which includes survival mode and Wintermute. On that same web page the US prices are Survival $19.99 and the base game $39.99

Because what you call the base edition includes more than the survival edition does. It actually says so right there in your screenshot. All you need to do is read it...

i think the regional prices got set wrongly. i have seen another thread where the user also had regional prices and it was even more expensive than what it should have been (being survival edition more expensive than the 'normal' edition)

then i guess it's that the regional prices got set wrongly in this case. i have seen another user's thread where they also had regional prices and the survival edition was more expensive than the normal edition

i was kinda hoping that the survival edition was cheaper because it might be like a more extended version of the survival.

just please don't just make the games more expensive. the regional prices are good enough. i think if you just switch the prices for the versions is perfect.
