Will I lose my post-DLC save?

Today's Dev announcement says "As a result, unfortunately Survival Mode saves will not work with the game once you download the Update for Part One of TALES FROM THE FAR TERRITORY."

I'm confused: is this message just for ppl who still have saves from before they downloaded the Tales DLC? Or does it mean that my current save, which I began after downloading the DLC, will no longer be playable will no longer be playable when the next update gets released? Is there an expectation that players need to start a new save after each DLC update?

On PC? AFAIK, No. It only is applicable to MAC, Xbox and PlayStation Versions. PC users already went through this prior. At least that is my understanding from the Dev Update - February 2023.

This is exactly how I understood the latest info. But then, we could both be wrong :)

No. That was meant for MAC users and the consoles.

The header for that part of the announcement specifically says for Part One.
The only people who have not gotten Part One (paid or free update content) are MAC users, and consoles.

We'll be getting Part Two. Our saves should be fine.

Yeah, perhaps they could have put in a statement saying like "PC User's current saves since the prior update will not be effected since they have already gone through this". Here's to hoping we are right, otherwise... oof.

yeah, when i read that i got pretty damn upset because i'm having the most luck with my current save than i have ever, (i'm not that good at the game, sue me.)
this thread is a relief, i feel bad for the mac and console players, though.

If you already downloaded the update for Part One, your saves will not be impacted. The reminder is primarily for console and Mac users.
