Do you repair your firearms on the milling machine?
With as many rifle repair kits as there are I only use the revolver. The rifle is too heavy for and I never have run out of the RRK.

I never did on my 500 days voyageur run pre dlc.
I eventually switched to bow because it is lighter and cause less bleeding time, even though I had a few good condition rifles with enough bullets.

I am a worry wart - what if I use up all of my cleaning kits? :steamsad:
When I get the opportunity to repair things on the milling machine I will do as much as I can. I typically have a whole lot of scrap metal to do it with. I do not really have to since I am in Pilgrim, but I do it anyway.

(edit: bleak inlet)

I only once repaired on the milling machine, and after sleeping there the previous two nights with a nice lot of ammo made, the whole area checked, reading a few books to dump them and zero wolves in there, got Fluffied and died!!!! Aurora Fluffy is dangerous and unpredictable and may catch you unawares. I'm sticking to the bow now.

I didn't even know there's a milling machine in blackrock, so thx, and I recommend you go there instead

I never take on Fluffy during the Aurora.

I have never run out of cleaning kits or whetstones or anything to keep my stuff workable. Stalker loot. There is so much stuff and I just use the bow for hunting and the riffle for the occasional moose or bear. Maybe I will do a long run where I truck all my axes, knives, guns, etc to Blackrock and repair them. Can't stand BI cold and wind and lack of deer.

I never ran out of cleaning kits on my 2500 Day pre-update Voyageur run. That may have been the result of my reluctance to use the revolver or rifle after I reached Archery 5. On the one occasion I visited the BI Cannery I repaired my revolver and rifle as a side benefit of crafting ammunition. I would never visit the Cannery just to repair firearms.

On my previous Stalker loot run I lovingly displayed all my rifles and pistols at 100% at the Quonset Garage with sufficient cleaning kits to accomplish the task. I had metal and tool kits to get every hacksaw and can opener to 100% and also repair the tool kits. but sharpening the knives and axes did not seem doable. Was going to do a BlackRock run with all of them when the DLC landed. End of that.
Will see what loot I collect from the new DLC and decide what to do for my display of 100% condition stuff that I will collect.
Hinterland! Please give us more gun racks! I need to display my new premium rifles! Got all 3. :)
Gonna snipe the Moose from far away and out out his detection range with the Curators rifle. Because I am a coward and can't take a chance on a stomping. Same with Bear. Snipe it from a long distance. Thanks Hinterland! You guys rock and take care of us cowards. Let the Lopers have their adrenaline rush.
