UPDATE **Possible Interloper Spoiler** Question
Updated in 18th post 2nd page.

Now that I've found the revolver in my most current run (which I absolutely LOVE), I managed to make my way back to Bleak Inlet to try and repair/service my firearm. Every single vehicle I have searched so far has produced no lead. Is this intentional? Do we only get a revolver with around 15 rounds with no more to be made? If that is the case, what was the point of adding it? I love the idea of having a salvageable firearm on 'loper, but not if we cannot make ammo for it.

I was thinking that they added the revolver in a minuscule amount and hey, like I said I'm totally happy with that. It's not even really a huge advantage over the bow due to the weight. But, if we cannot craft the ammo then yes, carrying the weapon and casings isn't worth it.

I haven't found any batterie under any car hood after exploring the whole world in interloper, it seems deliberate. I think there was one near workbench at FA airport, not sure about that, I had no use for it anyway. Still no revolver but I restarted my run after the fix for interloper (weapon and high tier loots in mememto cache removed).

I’ve certainly received scrap lead as a (totally underwhelming) loot found in a tool box at least once, if that helps.

In the short amount of time that I've actually had the revolver on interloper, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I've played no modes except interloper for probably the last two or three years. Thinking back to when they first created the revolver, I believe it was introduced at the same time as Bleak Inlet, so it was definitely an incentive for dealing with timber wolves. I think having the revolver would def allow me more freedom to explore timber wolf-laden areas when I don't have a lit torch. This run I haven't had to rely on it because I am already level five archery (as of yesterday!) but it's obviously a huge asset. I hope that 1) the placement even on interloper was intentional and 2) eventually I'll find some salvageable lead at some point. BTW I found it in a memento cache so I feel like that's a good place for it in case folks would still rather choose to go 100% without firearms for loper.

I'd really like to hear what HL says about it, just for clarity. I'll probably end up lugging the revolver around with me regardless because I did find ammo in more than one spot (some was with the weapon and more was on a corpse).

I always found multiple car batteries in my interloper runs. In my last run 6 or 7 in the whole world.

Just for clarity from the TFTFT patchnote :

"If you find items that did not used to spawn an interloper in an interloper run, it is most likely a bug – we especially did not intend for weapons to spawn into interloper games (a bug we addressed in one of our earlier hotfixes)."

@OP

I want weapons in interloper, just enough to make a few shots for fun, to reach lvl 5 rifle & revolver, to have them in my base, but certainly not to be used as primary weapon. And this will never happen to be honnest. firearms as late game goal for interloper is ok, not for common use.

What I personnaly find interesting is to have somewhere 1 rare item I have to found as late game goal. imho.

When I found my first revolver I was very happy, When I found my second I said to myself "Allright I'm a canadian cowboy now" but when I found the third one... I was already bored...

I hope that I find some lead! As mentioned having that revolver with ammo would be really nice for the timber wolf regions. I'm totally out of ammo for it now but I have about 12 bullet casings, 98% condition revolver, and 3 containers of gunpowder sitting at the Bleak Inlet cannery ammo crafting location. No luck though as of yet with finding lead, and I just came from BR... man, did I actually MISS some lead being there? I thought that I scoured it pretty well in the maintenance shed. Before I head back I think I'm going over to Ash Canyon to try and retrieve the technical pack and crampons.

I hope that they leave the revolver in Interloper. I don't think it really makes a game-changing difference anyways. Like I said, it would just help me with TW locations. I just like the variety. I realize loper is scarce on purpose but the game could still be scarce but with more variety.

Ya know, I'm not positive and maybe it's just the power of suggestion, but I might have found some ammo as well up near the marsh ridge cave. Seems like I did find something noteworthy up there this run but I cannot remember exactly. I think I should start making notes as to object locations this run. I found my second hammer yesterday in Bleak Inlet.

You should find lead - search more cars! In my last loper run I found 7 or 8 batteries, no less.

Yeah, I know for a fact that I found some on my last long loper run, but I'm just not sure if that has changed with the new updates.

**Update**

Made my way to Blackrock Prison and found a car battery (!) in the main courtyard. Also found another box of revolver ammunition at the entrance to the mine (the broken path entrance that is blocked off with a corpse and backpack). I'm on around day 180. Finally found my first moose and made myself a satchel.

Also, I made a thread last night complaining that the game was freezing when I entered the mine (hung up on loading screen). I stopped trying after two attempts last night but gave it another go this morning after verifying my game files. So if you find your game freezing up, you might have luck recovering it by doing this. Once I verified the files I was able to recover 4 files that were missing or damaged and I no longer had hang-ups entering the mine load screen.

Only problem now though, my revolver is all the way back in Bleak Inlet LOL!

Welp, ammo doesn't matter when I miss a bow shot at a wolf and get killed ;(
