First I use sticks and got to +45 C

Now I use some Pine wood and its up to +27 C
Still Looog away from +80... Guess its time for 7 coal then
I think its hard to find coal...sticks you found million of...

Sticks are +1 C per stick which is all I can recall at the moment.
Coal generates +20 C per piece with no upper limit.
Forge temperature would be reachable with ten sticks and seven pieces of coal. It takes a while for the heat to build up so make a recycled can of water or cook a kilo of meat. So ten sticks and seven coal is the minimum needed to be able to forge. Cedar, fir, reclaimed wood have higher delta for temperature per piece but you get the idea.
Keep in mind that 150 C is the minimum forge temperature. Any action, such as taking a torch from the furnace would reduce the temperature by 1 C putting the furnace at 149 C and no longer at forging temperature. The only way to build it back up would be to use coal.
Wood can maintain the temperature, since that would extend fire duration, so coal is not needed to sustain the forge temperature.
I made 75 my first run cause I didn't want to come back. XD
