Report a translation problem
It will launch the game in Survival Mode, with the new free and/or DLC content. The DLC is not a seperate choice on the new menu. It is part of Survival mode. Old saves are not compatible, this was told to us multiple times since the October Dev Diary. Your old saves can only be played using the Time Capsule, and they will not include any of the new content. For the new content, you need to start a new run.

I don't think the Cougar is in the game yet, but I haven't gone into the Ravine to see if it's no longer "safe" to vacation there.
Not a fan of survival mode, kinda pity tho.
