Wintermute => Story Mode in 5 episodes.
tales from the far territory => New DLC for the Survival Edition.
This is a new system, you can also read it here:
https://www.thelongdark.com/news/dev-diary-october-2022/
(under NEW SKUS)
That means you have to buy the Survival Edition + the Wintermute Edition (Story) separately.
The remove the story mode out of the "main game" to sell it apart and get a double cash in for new players.
It also should be "free" for anyone that own the game before this update, but it isnt.
There should be also a bundle for both "editions" Survival and Wintermute (Main story)
The "greed" is not greed as the community democratically endorsed this in a poll 2 years ago. They separated Wintermute + Survival to release update faster and more efficiently.
