Unable to find Mountain Town Shortwave Radio Tower

I've been around every which way I can think of. Tried going up the road following the sign to the tower, but found a rock collapse blocking the road. Tried going around the long way, taking the tiny path that forks to the river under Spruce Falls Bridge, but that pathway up is also blocked by a rock collapse. How does anyone get to the Shortwave Tower now? It's all that's left for me to get my Faithful Cartographer achievement.

Walk up the path behind milton house and the post office -> climb over two rockblocks -> you are there

Alternate route: Walk over spruce falls bridge, when the bearcave is to your left you have to go right. Walk up the path, enter the cave, traverse the cave, walk down the path, do not break your legs when hopping down on the ice pond, with the planecrash to your left, the path to the radio tower will be on your right side.

When you're at the end of the pathway behind Mother house - look right - the rocks there have roots you can climb - get close enough and the Climb message will appear.

But how about use the old path following the street between M.Grays house and Post Office.

When reach pond, turn right, and then right again - the path is now a bit hidden, but is not need climb in rocks or roots for reach the tower.

BTW - If after pond turn right and after left will reach that warm open cave.

You can't reach the pond anymore from the path behind mothers house - it's blocked.
They changed it.

You most certainly can get from the pond/cave area to Grey Mother's via the path. They did change it so the path is a little different, but it's still very accessable.

There is no pond between the radio tower and milton
No path is hidden
And you have to climb roots to reach it, from both directions.

You are right, the path for access to pond (near open cave) is blocked by this rock wall:

But the alternative is just at right of rock wall, the roots.

Tower is just behind the rock arch above, and behind the usual path for cave at right and pond at left.

In the end, the access for radio tower became more short/fast.

Yes ; it's true. I also looked for how to reach the tower during hours and that's now the only way. When you are very near the rocks you have to climb.
