Interloper skill books
As for the skill book to increase firearms, I am guessing its only use is a more easy way to start fires in your first week in interloper mode. If so, they should refine the loot table a little more in interloper. Multiple spawns of a single type of item seems to happen too. In PV, i searched most of the area and found 5 hacksaws, due to what I am guessing with the limited table of tools to spawn. Its a fun mode so far and it could be really incredible.

Yeah, im pretty sure ive gotten 3 or 4 firearms books and 1 book that was actually useful.

I like that the dev's have a sense of humor but getting basically ALL firearms books is almost sadistic lol

It is already incredible in a masochistic sorta way. 2 hacksaws, 3 heavy hammer, 3 prybars, 1 box of matches, 0 bedroll. Incredible ;-) Course, the firearms books does seem to be piling on after the tackle.

i have played about 20 attempts(did not know any of the zones other then the first 2). 5 of them have lasted more then a week.....and you say there are bedrolls in interloper? I was getting ready to fight bears in the last one but i died (stupid dumb rabbit(smart?) lead the wolf right up the hill to where i was behind a tree!) .

For PV spawns my advice for Interloper Is loot Homestead and loot Radio tower and get to ML as quickly as you can. This Strat has gotten me to at least day 30 in my three runs. Currently on day 55 in CH

I do somthing like that. It really does seem the CH is the place to 'retire" to. I was hoping for more options but its too good with the best fishing holes whith hunting/traping options right in veiw. The fog can be horrible though on the frozzen lake. I ran in a circle once while dodging wolves. Can't wait to go to ML once im ready.

Very Nice. Oddly enough, i just found my first one too, hidden in a catwalk inside the hibernia whale processing building. Saved me too, had cabin fever from the solid day of sleeping and crafting indoors. I thought they might not exist, along with my current 4 firearms skill books. Just need to find that firestriker again....
