I don't know the answer to the subtitle question, but I can answer a few of the others.
Atm, the radio only makes a 'click' 'click' noise when you turn the knob. No electricity, so it's completely dead.
Wolves make a few different noises. At a distance where they sense something is in their area but don't know exactly where you are, they'll often stop what they are doing and howl. Sometimes you can see them from far away and witness them do this - other times it is useful if you are coming up over a hill or around a building and you hear them do it - like an early warning system. I'm not sure if they subtitle that, but it definitely would help if they did. Wolves make a semi-aggressive bark when they notice you for the first time, if you are still at a distance - they may start coming closer after that bark, or they may follow along cautiously, just sizing you up. If you back up slowly at this point you can often give them the slip - but sometimes they will be highly interested in you and speed up to keep you within striking range - or they'll give a new, more vicious 'attack bark' and come running to try to eat you.
The crows have at least 2 different cawing noises. One type of caw (the standard) is for when they are flying over a corpse (human, deer, etc.). You can usually see them circling above the dead thing if you're not too far away and visibility is decent. The other type of caw is much more aggressive and angry or excited sounding. This is the noise they make when you get close to a bear, b/c they are anticipating the bear eating you and leaving them leftovers ;)
Like those avaliable on L4D2?
Cause there is nothing like that here...
But!
Radios doesnt work
Wolves growl before the attack, also you can hear the howl first.
Birds cicling indicate dead corpses
And birds passing means that the weather is going to change
