That is very subjective, likely if you jsut focus ons tory youc an go through in couple of hours, at my first game 2 years ago or so I played it kinda like survival mode hoarding stuff etc and spend quite dozens of hours on it.
Back when it was initially released, it took me 5 hours to finish Episode 1 and 12 hours to finish Episode 2.
After the REDUX update, which reworked, changed, and streamlined a lot of things, Episode 1 takes 3-4 hours to someone who knows what they are doing and where things are (so, "not a new player"), while Episode 2 is still closer to 10 hours.
And, you will get all 3 remaining episodes for free as they are released over the course of the next 1-2 years. Sadly, things take longer than anticipated, but Episode 3 should be "soon".
"The first two episodes of WINTERMUTE represent approximately 15 hours of gameplay."
I'd put 15 hours as more of a 'completionist' approach.
5 hours would be a speedrun.
Once all five episodes are out, I bet it would be a solid 30 hour experience. Well worth the price of admission.
