the mine in blackrock??

i can't seem to get to the mine. unlike in story mode the rope bridge isn't usable. so how do i get to the mine in survival mode? or is it a different mine i need to find/go to?

before reaching the broken mule bridge rope, you will find a left turn 100m before the bridge. If you are waiting at the bridge turn back and look your right, you gonna see a passage. at the end there is a rope to down the river. Just walk on the river like walking back to base. But then you gonna see a rope again on your right. At this point just follow the path you will reach the mine eventually.

Is this first rope the one at Fool's Corner? I've gone down there and headed in the direction of the Mule Bridge but can't see anywhere else to go. It's a dead end.

Yes, is the rope in Fool's corner, but you take the wrong direction, follow the river down, and "goat" down the small waterfall - by their left side is safety.

Ah ok. I went to that section where it's listed as a one-way passage on the map, but I was pretty sure I'd die if I continued down because it looks like a ledge. So it's safe to go that way?

Goating can be touchy sometimes. If you have concerns, there are a few different places where you're "supposed" to be able to access the ravine that are further down from the rope to the mine. Makes for a longer walk up the ravine, but guarantees no risk to life and limb and clothes. One is located off the road from the prison, not too far a walk, near one of the footbridges across the ravine, but it's around a corner that is kind of easy to miss.

Descend to the canyon east of BR prison. Go north to the end. Climb.
