save file location?

Is it in appdata/local/hinterland/thelong dark/sandbox1 ?is that the file location? Or what should i manual backup incase i die

Backup the whole TheLongDark folder.

Thank you. I am backing up my whole TheLongDark folder to a thumb drive. If my character does die is it a simple matter of replacing the file on my hard drive with the saved folder?

If you look in the folder Hinterland\TheLongDark you will see file names such as sandbox, story and perhaps challenge all with numbers at the end, depending on how many runs you have tried. If you change the window 'View' > 'Details', then you can arrange them by newest date order and work out which is which by Date modified.
