Miner's Folly bear
Is this the easiest bear kill? There is an easy way to climb up where bear can't get you, and his path is right around that rock...

First bear I've killed I kinda blocked the path with fire.. but second time I wanted to test if he can get there.. but nope.. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

And let's not forget the 6-slot stove to cook it :steamhappy:

I had it even easier at Miner's Folly. I'd just finished looting Foreman's and was keeping an eye out for the bear. It was asleep next to the rock by the rope bridge. 1 arrow to the head and it was good night.

The PV bear is also an easy one although I killed it at the barn. Just kept door hopping.

Compare it to the TW mountain bear that patrols the plane wing near mountaineer's hut. It took me nearly a week to finally loot the cargo crates there, between 2 maulings.

There is a cliff that overlooks the bear den and the downward sloping pathway that leads you into the chasms at the foot of TWM. If you climb that miniature mountain and then wait for the bear to return to his cave or leave, you can take the shot from high above and I highly doubt he has pathing good enough to run all the way round and up the narrow slope that leads to the overlook above his den.

imo :
> misanthrope homestead in CH
> ice fishing huts in ML
> unamed pond in ML
> MT on the bridge

Because you have perfect visibility, and you can trick him near a car, a blind hunt or a fishing hunt where it won't reach you. If he's charging you when you shot it won't run away after the shot (with a bow at least, I never used guns or rifles)
