Episode 4 worst one yet
Biggest problem for me are the wolfes. They are to many, to agressive, spot one miles away and taking bullets like candy. Ammonition is to low to fight them.

Many Bugs that bugs out some side mission.

Yep, lot of wolves. I've managed to shoot most groups and explore the whole map. There is quite a bit of ammo hiding around too (following side missions may help). Avoid wolves where able and make every shot count when you can't avoid.

too* too fast too slow too tall too short too many too much

They put in a lot of wolves to disctract us from the fact that ch4 has no improvements to the game

Even on the hardest difficulty, you are going to end up with so much ammo that you could put down every wolf you encounter. You need to avoid them at the begin and search every stashes.

I have just reached the power station (I guess it’s about 30% of the episode) and I have so much ammunition that the wolves are not a problem at all, don’t even have to dodge them.
I suspect you are rushing too much and don’t check all places/containers etc.
Slow down and explore.

That's the beauty of this game though, your biggest threat is the bugs you have to try and survive.
But how can bugs even survive in this biting cold in the middle of winter? TLD should be bug-free by nature. :coffeeTLD:

I don't understand the complaining about wolves when the game gives you so many ways to deal with them (dozens of revolver rounds, dozens of rifle rounds, at least a dozen flare shells, several noisemakers + the ability to craft more, about eight marine flares, a bow with half a dozen arrows... or just the old-fashioned way of sneaking around them (crouching)

Yup. Finished the episode with plenty of ammo.

Actually jsut came to formu for this. I have some ammo, evne bow and arrows... but being forces shoot 3 timberwolves every few steps make me worry I will deplete ammo faster than I movee across the map...

Will those groups stop appear if you keep killing them?

(Talking about Timberwolves groups that seems to appear scripted/peridocially)

I'm on medium difficulty and so far, I haven't shot a single wolf. I do a lot of sneaking, though. I've done the power plant mission and am now in the mine up at the top of the map looking for the detonators. I've also gotten most of the convict stashes. Haven't faced off with the uber-wolf up north yet. I hear he's just about bullet proof.

I don't know if you realized it, but on the work table you can create the new object that is a kind of firecracker, with that the timberwolves you easily get rid of, also, that in the episode they give you powder and I don't think it's for ammo that you can't make.

I ahve the noisemaker. Still nee duse like 2-3 per encounter.

As noted I ahve lot of stuff so far to counter them, but had 3 enoucntes in single day (went from Foreman Clearcut to Raoad cave) *which equal ~9 bulelts wahtever...) that is damn a lot. Sure just 1 marine flare do the trick, I know that too. Day ebfore I had also 3 encounters, while just messing on apth between both barns..

I guess part of trhose encoutners is scripted to occur when you visit the palce for first time, but stil...

At a good distance, so they don't spot you... but it is doable, staying a bit on high ground can help as well.

Keeping as much distance as I can. There are also a few cars in the game. If I do trigger timberworlves, then I make fast for the nearest place they can't touch me (like inside a car, for example) and wait for them to go away.

The wolves, especially the timberwolves, do seem a little more aggressive than I remember. On the same difficulty, I seem to recall it used to take a lot less to scare them off. Now, I'll maim or kill one or two of them and that doesn't seem to deter them. I've also shot them point blank as they charge me with no effect. The only thing that seems to really work against them is the new noisemakers. I've found it usually takes me maiming one or a marine flare, then two noisemakers. Playing on standard difficulty.

The spawn seems pretty aggressive, as well. In one area, with the frozen pond, I had had enough and decided to kill all three of the wolves (not timberwolves). I killed them, saved, and moved on. But I messed up a few minutes later, and reloaded that save. Two more wolves had respawned, even though the bodies of the three wolves I had killed previously were still laying on the ground, unaharvested.
