Things Disappearing

I have noticed lots of various items suddenly disappearing in recent games I've played:

1. Cooking pot at Trapper's Cabin, ML - Stalker
The one sitting up against the stove. I pick it up, and later find that it is not in my inventory. It reappeared later though.

2. Heavy Hammer at Last Resort Cannery, BL - Stalker
The heavy hammer on the dock. I never actually saw it in my inventory ever.

3. Bear hide harvested in BR, disappeared in FM -Custom
I dropped the bear hide on the ground in the barn at the forge along with some other pelts. Only the bear hide disappeared from the ground. No where to be seen. Could it have been "covered" by snow? It was snowing outside.

I've also noticed some other things that I thought I picked up but later didn't find it in my inventory. I didn't know for sure though. The 3 items listed above are the ones I'm sure I picked up and never dropped (except for the bear hide, which I know exactly where I put it; on top of the rest of the hides that were still there).

Anybody else notice missing items? I've seen others note the Trapper's Cabin cooking pot going missing, but was wondering about other things as well.

I haven't, but if you have and suspect you are dealing with a bug, report it.

Ok. If it's not happening to anybody else, I'm going to wait to report it to make sure it's not just me.

I'm pretty sure others have said they had similar issues, but I don;t know if they filed any bug reports. Searching the Technical Issues subforum is your best bet for finding other players who are having similar issues.

Ah, sorry. My bad, I didn't even notice you don't have the mouse icon by your name, and forgot some subforums are locked to Steam game-owners only. You should still be able to search there, though, to see if anyone else is having the issue with the same items or locations.

No way to verify game files either, with that version of the game.

I hope they can help and get this fixed up for you and anyone else who is experiencing this bug. I'm going to have to load up multiple saves I have going right now, here on Steam, on XBox One and on switch to see if it might happen there as well. Cooking pots aren't too terribly hard to come by in Stalker, but losing that Heavy Hammer hurts, especially if you were about to forge a few dozen arrowheads. :(

I have had the Trappers cabin cooking pot disappear. I picked it up and placed it on the stove. After going out then back into the cabin the pot was gone from the stove and not in my inventory. I reported as a bug to HL.

Happened to me several (3 or 4 I think) times now on Loper.
Now I just pick up both Pots and use them with my Outdoor Fire.
I've never really used the Stove but since it eats the Pots I don't use it at all.

Haven't played much on other difficulties so I can't say anything about the other Issues, sry.

Same issues in my runs. And you can find some posts about this problem in the technical issues forum. I lost cooking pots and pelts in different locations while picking them up.

We've actually already addressed the disappearing pot in Trapper's Cabin, but I've personally not heard of any issues with pelts or a heavy hammer.
