a different voice actor ?
i remember that there used to be another voice actor for your character in survival mode in earlier versions of this game - his appearance was also different, he was similar to william, you could still play as william in the wintermute story mode.

what happened to him ? why did they replace him for william ?

Mackensie is voiced by Mark Meer.
This has not changed.
The character model has changed a bit over time, but the voice actor who speaks his lines has not.

ah yes, his name is mackensie - my mistake

i have a faint memory of me playing survival mode in an old build
the voice actor for your survivor in survival mode was different, same goes to their appearance
