I played this wonderful, really wonderful game for 10 hours, after the update it does not come in. The screen just starts - "Press any key to continue" - I press and the game freezes. The game freezes after the disclaimer,since the last update,

i solved the crash like this :


1. In Steam, go to your Library

2. Right Click on the game title

3. Select Properties

4. Click Set Launch Options...

5. Paste the following line into the provided text box:

-force-glcore

6. Click OK, then Close."

Additionally, the first thing you should always do is to go to the game in your library, right click on it and select "Properties". Once the window opens go to the "Local Files" tab and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files". Once complete, restart Steam and try the game.

I commonly do this after updates, or if I encounter strange stuff in game.

If you are stuck on the Disclaimer screen with Loading flashing try quitting the game by pressing alt+F4 . Then at the top left of the Steam page click on Steam > Settings > Downloads and "CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE".

You will then have to sign back into Steam and try playing TLD.

Wonder if OpenGL will work for EG people who are having this problem.
