Fishing Hut Safety
I've been trying to find this out for a little while, but I'm still not 100% sure: can predators attack you while you are in a fishing hut, either with the door open or no door at all? I remember hiding out in a fishing hut with no door after nearly getting snagged by three different wolves a couple years or so ago, and they weren't able to enter the hut. They kept charging but couldn't get past the open doorway; they would just circle around the hut. Just wondered if I could get a definite answer on whether or not those little shacks are perfectly safe.

Fishing huts are officially dangerous. Yes; they can attack you inside.

Yep, I've been wolfed inside a fishing hut.

The moral is if you know there is a wolf near by don't go fishing... Just kill it or go indoors (not the hut)

The fishing hut is not safe for fishing if wolfs are near, or a bear is near. But I have hunted them both using the fishing hut as a hunting blind. I go to the inside rear of the hut, crouch, and continue to the rear, and escape detection (almost all the time). But of course, YMMV.

To avoid getting gimped by wolf or bear in a fishing hut I try to stay in the middle of the hut. However, I've never been attacked by a wolf in a hut, I've certainly seen a bear half in the hut half out of the rear wall, but that was a glitch, one I thought had been fixed a long time ago though. Be Lucky! :steamhappy:

I do a do and do not have a problem though I love when my hut has a door.

I like to leave them a little extra fish outside the door to draw them near....and boom arrows to the head....of course they do like to hit me in the hut unless there is a fire

Interesting, I've never been attacked in a hut either. An in fact, have several times successfully run into a hut and the wolf loses interest and starts walking away. In my experience they've been safe.

Snow shelters on the other hand. NOT safe...

I always thought that they are safe... I just shot the bear with a bow in TWM near fishing hut.. He started chasing me, I got inside and he got away.. I just waited till he died..

you are safe from attack in a fishing hut so long as the stove is turned on. if the stove is off you are not 100% safe as they may still enter and attack you. You maybe had the fire going last time you remembered playing in a hut
