Taking on the wolf pack at the cannery.
How successful have you been with the timberwolves that patrol the cannery? Do you leave them alone or get rid of them? The bridge with all those cars seems like a good place eliminate the threat.

The way I've done it was to start by the Washed Out Trailers. Get to the little hut by the entrance to the cannery and crouch as much as possible to avoid agitating them. Then just sprint to the trailer inside the cannery, maybe using marine flares to hold them off. From there, just sprint to the rope and get up it. Once you are on the top section, you can kill them easily.

Approach Canary by the hill in back (coming from trailers), couch and climb down the rocks, most of times the wolves will detect you. Just point a stone for then, they will run, giving you time for run to trailer.

In 20 or more times there I have to fight one wolf because have sprained ankle because jump from rocks too high, and try shoot (Stalker) at the wolf instead use flare. This time I am carrying cooked meant for craft some days and wolves became more aggressive.

In other time carrying meant I use flare and no problem, including run direct for rope instead enter in trailer.

After you get in trailer, leave crouched, so wolves don't detect you, but if you stand up in any area inside canary they detect. I have impression that one spawn in middle of canary area if you stand up there.

Crouched you can loot the area until reach the rope, after leave do wolves do their "show".

For exit canary, leave workshop crouched and jump from piers and go for Big Bridge.

In the end, enter and leave Canary is more easy/safety than Quonset or BR Maintenance Shed.

I went to the work bench, chopped deer meat into small pieces, mixed it with stomp remover and left over lead powder and traces of battery acid. Then I spread that bait, climbed to the trailer roof and watched them eat the bait and die slowly. And I had a huge grin on my face, when the last of those f*ckers fell to the ground with a muted bump.

Then I woke up and realized this has been just a dream and those insane, nasty, nerve wrecking creatures are still lowering my TLD love factor day by day until they are just such a PITA that I stop playing TLD alltogether.

Almost sounds like something Wil E Coyote would make to get the Road Runner. Beep Beep!!

I stood on top of those two big pipes in the front of the cannery that is part of the parkour challenge. It was night during an aurora. I wounded 3 of them and they later died. They move quickly was soon as you aim the rifle. Anyways, progress!

Edit: I actually wounded all 4 and they all died. Three ended up on the ice and one in the snow. They were yummy. I've been back to the cannery a few times since and there seems to be a lone wolf that runs away from me now. Maybe they need a pack?
Think that the T-wolf needs a pack.

My strategy is simple. Have a blue flare and run simply inside directly to trailer :) Once a wolf attacked me by I managed to get to trailer anyway. After that I go up the rope and kill all of them provided that you have at least 20 arrows to be sure ;) Simple strategies are the bests :)

I coulda swore I saw a pack with just two wolves. The alert bar was shorter too.
I know I have played Story mode where "a pack" had only two wolves. Six being the maximum.

The doorway to the guard house to the entrance of the cannery seems like a great place to hold them off. On YouTube HomeAloneGaming did a loper run where he stayed inside the guardhouse and the pack still cause him damage. Time will tell what method is best and what players are comfortable with.

Yes, Twoves hit you inside that guard house.

Better is "fight" then from any place of "parkour" path, or like I do, just ignore then.

So you do not have a problem shooting the T wolves when on the parkour path?

Usually when you point weapon they "see" and flee, but are some spot in parkour path in what they became suck and you can kill 3 fast, and then the last flee.

In my experience, in the ext days when he are alone don't aggro, but flee again when see you.

I too did this, it is a great strategy, but for me I had 3 straight days of new wolf packs, is this normal? I always missed one, so on the last day they would run up, then run off as soon as I aimed, I think because they were all from different packs? I did get jumped however by one straggler, it was a dumb mistake on my part. I had wolf bodies all over the place, and after I won the last struggle with an axe, I was finally at peace, even though the threat meter was about 30% when I ran in the trailer. The surprise in the cannery was not very nice either.
I did this on my easy custom run, I wanted to see what the fuss was about, and make bullets, and use the machine at least once. I really can not for the life of me ever believe that I would attempt to go there on Vanilla Loper, just suicide if you ask me.

I am at the cannery now. What I would like to do is get Gunsmithing Level 5 so my bullets are all 100% with no worries. Not sure if the reason I dislike Bleak Inlet because it is new to me or because it is not a good place to stay like others. Or is it both?
