RAIN, I'll be collecting data, but warmth does not translate to better healing. For ex, I know the +8C bed in PV Farmhouse is a 32 bed. Meanwhile, the Riken bed is a +5C bed but heals 37. There are beds in Trailers I know I've healed more than 32 that are +5C beds, but I wasn't collecting data at the time.
I mean if I search 'beds' dang this thread should pop right up but nooope.
If I find the expected WEWs on Summit WOOT! Kill Bullwinkle at some point to fill that other accessory!
I knida wish all scarves were accessories.
Man, even on Interloper Day 110 I can sleep in a +28C cave with my clorthes on, bear bedroll, and NO FIRE...right thru the coldest part of the morning too!
Deer Clearing and the cave you first come to if you go up Echo Ravine and cross using the tree...that's a +28C cave also.
So basically you can leave Mountain Hut, go to the Wing (watch out for the moose on guard though), up the pass collecting stuff otw, cross the tree, come to the first cave. Warm up/sleep, etc. Next is the rope climb to Deer Clearing with another +28C cave.
Hey also, the funky 3-way cave on TWM that has a Burned Out Campfire, matches, rng supplies, that cave is a windbreak and a +8C bonus. Not the greatest but even on Day 100 I was almost able to chop up a Fir Limb with no hit except I got too cold walking to the cave.
At Hunting Lodge, the two made beds are regular. However comma the mattress in the common landing upstairs turned on its side heals at least 36% for 10h, so likely it's another one of those +3C/10h-37% beds.
I have a favor to ask of any Interloper currently living in a snow shelter. The next time your condition is lower 60s or below and you sleep 10 hours STRAIGHT, could you report your condition gained back. I know with the shelter you'll need to sleep by a barrel or hollow tree or whatever, just don't get yourself killed.
Ah memory...
