Four Days of Night is a Halloween event, running from October 28th to November 1st (timezones may affect this).
The game is patched shortly before, then the mode is patched OUT few days after the event.
If you create a new survival sandbox for this specific event, you'll spawn in a world that is permanently at night. There are 4DON-unique elements in the game world. One of the badges is for playing at least 2 hours, another badge is for playing for 2 hours each of the 4 calendar days.
Be glad they are not achievements ;-)
I can't for the life of me finish Doom (2016) or Doom Eternal (2020) on anything above Ultra Violence, and yet there are achievements for completing it on Nightmare and Ultra Nightmare. I'm doomed to having these games as "incomplete".
That's just life...
In contrast, the hardest things Hinterland ask you to do to have all achievements for TLD is:
1. Play 1 day of Interloper (doable)
2. Survive for 500 days in any survival sandbox (perhaps tedious, but not hard)
3. Find all secrets in the Story mode (just follow the guides and it's easy)
4. Throw a rock at a rabbit from over 80 feet (easy once you realize that it also counts if the stone rolls down hill before hitting the rabbit).
I.e., none of these require any superhuman abilities.
