Has anyone found any of the Polaroids for surveying?
Curious as I have yet to stumble upon one. Also, do they only show up in new games or also in the ones that existed before the patch?

They show up in previous saves. I have been keeping a list of the ones people have found so far, if you want locations.

I actually just found one a few minutes after making my post XD I noticed there was a dead body that didn't use to be there and it had the polaroid. But sure, curious as to where it could spawn.

Lake Overlook
Quonset
Hibernia
Destroyed Lookout
Riken
Burned Ridge Cave
Rocky Refuge
HRV on top past cache, halfway between Lonely Cave and Signal Fire
Summit
Paradise Meadows Farm - backside of cabin, NE of house
East (right) of MT hut, North of the cave in the SE corner of the map, up on the hill South of the Wing
Cave on Summit
Little cave on Marsh Ridge
Echo Peak East
Islands Next to Spence
Corpse by Cabin by Unnamed Pond
Plane Crash cockpit
Prepper Cache
High Blind

Yes, they showed up in my 600 day Voyager run. I have found 2, and one of them was on a new corpse. I have found a new backpack that spawned next to an old corpse, but it didn't have a polaroid, only a few random items.

I found one at the Radio Tower in MT, inside the chest.

Yes, I have found them on my pre-update save. The one thing I noticed is that I when I found a vista before finding the photo, the game didn't label it as a vista. If you find the photo first, and then visit that location, there is a small pop-up saying that you found the vista but if you stumble across it and take a photo anyway, you get no notification. Seems odd to me. You found it, so you should get the notification with or without the polaroid.

So basically, they appear to be all over the place, at high-importance primary locations anyway.
