mysterious cave in mystery lake

hi
has anyone else found the cave on the hill opposite the camp office. i have no idea how i got there i seemed to have walked thru an invisible entrance in a rock and found myself starring at the exit. there is a body in there and lots of wood outside is a deer and two rope climes lead down to the river .. is not on any map and its in a different spot then alans cave..

pretty neat to find something new.. or is it old and ive just missed it all this time

Yeah, usually find a rifle there. I dont know how old it is.

It's on the maps. I found it by following a map, anyway. Finding the way is a bit of a pain, so it helps if you leave a trail of stuff you don't need to mark the path.

walk across from the office and go up as far as you can then turn right and scoot along till you come to a valley then turn left and head all the way to the top.. its pretty easy.. just look for the easiest way up..

or follow the left side of the lake to the southern river access and then hug the left wall and you'll find the rope..

Coming down the ropes from that cave is fairly safe because you can look for a while for wolves before you take the last drop. Still a chance of a wolf on the lake when you exit the river but those are usually fairly easy to avoid and it's a fairly short run to the camp office. If I'm exhausted and can't run, I exit the river crouched and hug the shoreline to the camp office. That cave also frequently has at least one nice book, I think I've found Guns, Guns, Guns up there a few times. I try to hit the cave opposite the camp office and the one behind the first set of lake cabins as soon as I land at the camp office even in Interloper because, in my experience, visiting them tends to be fairly safe and the loot is frequently useful . . . and the views are cool at the top of the ropes leading to those caves.
