animal respawn rate/time

does anyone know how long certain animals will take to respawn? I'm currently just playing survival, and I have a temporary base at the hunters cabin in broken railroad. I'm working to get some rabbit gloves, and I only have 3 rabbit pelts. I need a fourth rabbit and it would be great to know how long they take to respawn.

If you leave one of the guts in a harvested wolf (or any other carcass) it will take longer to respawn since the respawn timer will not start until the carcass has disappeared.

i prefer snaring rabbits to stoning for gut production, in fact i rarely take guts from anything other kill because they are so risky to haul. snaring rabbits doesnt deplete the population like stoning, giving you 3-5 a day generally (per 10) snares. rabbits are a little heavy to haul but they are also great decoys so you may lose 1 along the way.

And i got used to the opposite, i wouldn't bother harvesting the guts since quartering bear and moose gives 10 or 12 each... that's more than i use and they pop out just by quartering for the meat, lol
