But no I don't think Wolf AI is that smart. Afaik only thing they "hear" is the difference in a way your characters is moving. Crouching obviously being the stealthiest and sprinting expanding your "noise circle" quite a bit.
The ability to turn off the commentary in custom settings is not linked with the wolf detection setting.
The wolves find you regardless.
But I do think that player injury triggers increased wolf detection range. I certainly feels that way at least.
That's what I told every streamer every time they said, it wouldn't matter...as long as you have no stinky bar...most of them didn't believe me ;-)
