A note on Hatchets/Knives on Interloper. Try to only use Hatchet for chopping big tree limbs. The hatchet decays very quickly (3 % per chop), and you're going to need the whetstones for the knife as well. The knife is more important. So either make several hatchets, or use the hatchet only to chop big limbs. You can use the hammer to break up stuff that's inside, and the hammer can be easily repaired, whereas the hatchet cannot. If you can avoid chopping wood by gathering sticks, do so. In general, try to use the hatchet/knife only when necessary. It is still a good idea to make at least two hatchets, two knives and 20 arrowheads if your base is far away from DP. If it's on CH, you can make just one knife and hatchet and 10 arrowheads and come back when you run out of them.
