Darkness now grainy?
I have just gotten back into the game after about a month break and found that the game now appears extremely grainy in dark environments. When I played the game previously it had no film grain effect in any environment at any level of light. I am unsure if this change is intentional, but I don't think computer is having any issues.

I have tried reinstalling the game to no effect and my monitor and graphics card appear to be functioning properly. Has the game had some kind of update to its engine? I have been reluctant to read the patch notes for fear of Wintermute spoilers...

Thanks for the answer, seems a little strange that the lighting now changes by location though.

Does it? It seemed to me that the darkness is grainy everywhere now.
