Just sleep in a cave with a sleeping bear

I slowly crouched and walked pass him, put my bag on a rock and sleep for one hour and he's still sleeping. Anyone else ever do this ?

How can you even catch a bear sleeping these days?? Every time I walk towards a bear cave, he just walks out, EVERY TIME, even if I come up there every hour!

Once I saw a bear sleeping in a cave, but that was years ago! Dunno if I took a screen of that.

Yes on Voyageur, present version 1.69. Stalked a bear to his cave near the waterfall in southern Pleasant Valley. He did not exit, so I went to see, and he was sleeping in his den. Seemed like a good idea to me. You may not want to try this at home, kids. ;-)

I know that several years ago Geltaz posted a YouTube video of this exact thing. It certainly can be done.

I have slept in caves that I knew for sure the bear was out and about. Always waking up skittish that he will be in there...and always sneaking out then running like mad. LOL

One of these days the bear will catch me, but not yet.

tried only yesterday, only got as far to being beside bear. and whilst sitting there looking and thinking how cute Alan look's with paw over eyes, h woke up, I desperately try to run, only to get run over and mauled by the winds protected, fuel injected, nitro guzzling beast......all good, pretty sure that game was broke anyway

When I first started playing TLD I happened to walk into a cave where a bear was sleeping. Since I had the rifle with me I thought why not, it didn't turn out so well for me.

Same. 2 years ago, in Timberwolf Mountain. But I can't say that I slept in the same cave with the bear... I slept in the same bed with it. Be aware. He is grumpy after his beauty sleep...

Here's a tip that I will regret, put your bag on the rock in the back and no Bear/Wolf will get to you.
