Tried that in crumbling highway where killed the wolves there - could still hear howling even though no more wolves to be found. I guess can still hear the ones in neighboring CH and/or DP ?
I'm already used to it and the howls seem to be on the periphery of my hearing now as the only way to 'fix' it is to turn ingame sounds off - which is something I really don't want to do as I need to hear which direction the wolves/moose/bears are coming from to keep alive. *sighs*
The old howling mechanic was fairly useful. you could tewll when wolves stopped chasing you for example. Now you sort fo get direction but not as good as you did previously.. mostly you get annoyed.
