How to use Bear Spear the correct way?
I am really not new to this game, but how to use the bear spear? Tried three times, then it worked, clothes are torn bear run away. But the usage of the spear was luck.

Left click aim and at the bottom right an indicator of stamina. Is it enough to hold and aim? Have I to release the button? Help? :dsfight:

For me it worked this way. I waited until the bear stopped and was preparing to charge. After that, I aimed. Never missed a single time. Then press until the bar is full. I really liked the bear spear. It is a real game changer, especially when it will be introduced in survival.

You've got to let the bear charge you.
At a certain distance (you'll have to find it by trial and error...) you get in position with the spear.
After poking the bear initally you'll have to spam your left mouse button (or similar atack key) to fight him off.

Yeah the poking is the hard thing. First two attacks I had the spear in my hands like a noob. :InjusticeCatwoman:

Hello. It does not work, till you finish the quest (bear) you will carry 4kg of weight (spear). No correct way per se, but, have found when the bear stand upright and roars, wait for it to stand back down on all fours, the second all four of its paws touches the ground, trigger the spear. click on the left mouse tohold the attack. if the bear is close thou, may want to trigger the spear when it roars (instead of waiting for all four paws to touch the ground). Depends on distance.

It always work if you aim when he stood up and is close to charge. Later in the game. (Endfight) you should hide for a few second in cause of stamina
