Where to find the Song that plays while the Aurora is active?
So i just bought the OST, and i'm wondering where you can find the song that plays during the Aurora.

All I can tell you is to keep testing random tracks.

Though I might look on the internet.

Are you talking about the story mode bit of the soundtrack or the one that plays all of the time ( which is just sound effects).

The one that plays all the time

Do you mean the one on the radio? That is a piece of famous Classical music that is not included on the OST, since the 2 composers who wrote music for TLD did not write or record it. If you mean the sound the actuual Aurora makes, that is not a music trackm, and is also not on the OST. It is sound effects in the game, ambient audio track(s), like the sound of branches creaking and cracking, or wind blowing.

So this one right here is just ambience?

No, that is a radio playing, the Classical music that it plays during an Aurora. Which is not on the OST.

If you are in a Quonset Garage in Coastal Highway, by default there's no music during Aurora. But you can approach radio, an old analog device on a shelf, click on it and it will start to play this classical music (only during Aurora). So it should be the same radio in Maintenance Shed on a video, but it's turned on already.

The only idea came to my mind is to use some music recognition app on your smarphone.

I should get the OST. I love the music, but NEVER have it playing during the game. Nothing worse than straining to see if you hear the pitter-patter of lupine footsteps, only for the music to start playing...

Yeah, that weird "electrical techno" sound outdoors is ambient sound, made by the Aurora. It does have an audio file in the game files, but, again, it is not part of the OST, because it is not a song/music.

The OST is named "Music For The Long Dark" because it is music, not ambient audio tracks. Only songs/music tracks composed by Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan, just like the Store page advertises it as. I am not sure how to make it any more clear than I have already tried to make it. The track titled "Aurora" on the Wintermute Ambient album section is an actual song, like the rest f of the music tracks in the game, it is not the ambient sounds that the Aurora makes.

Looks like we've lost the definition of music in 21st century.

25rad has a point. I'm not sure how someone could mistake some odd aurora noises for a song.

I'm not sure how this is not a song for some people either...
