How to avoid food from Spoiling?
I did a Custom run with the Setting to make Items wear slower, but especially food seems to spoil pretty quick.

Any tipps on how to prolong my food condition? Thanks :P

There are very few foods that decay slower when left outdoors, so there is literally nothing that you can do to prolong the life of most all food. That said, reserve your cat tails for later because they do not decay at all.

Teas and coffee should be "prepared" by cooking before they reach 0%. Once they are cooked, they last indefinately.

Lastly, fresh meat can be given the longest life by storing it outside until it reaches 50% condition, then cooking it up to 100% (the act of cooking the meat provides a 50% increase to condition). Once cooked, meat stored outside decays at it's slowest rate.

Once you reach Level 5 cooking, you can even eat 0% "ruined" meat, receive 100% of the calories, and not get ill. Raw meat will make you sick.

Never waste meat if at all possible...at some point you will be able to eat it.

Got it thanks! Kinda makes sense it's cold outside like a freezer so meat should survive longer
