Report a translation problem
I remember, I think when story mode update came out, that the interior of buildings were pitch dark on what should be the "correct setting". I adjusted my brightness so I could barely see without having to use a lantern though that did make the outside perhaps too lighted. There were some adjustments by the devs and I backed off on my brightness settings to what I was comfortable with. In general, many buildings now have a sort of dim bluish interior light effect once the sun is completely down though it can be kind of rough until it kicks in.
Gotta find your own comfort zone.
