Where are the bear caves in Mystery Lake?

Hey guys! so pretty much what the title says. I know where the bear spawns are, but where are the caves? I don't think I've ever actually seen a bear cave in Mystery Lake. I know the area the bear patrols down by the lake, but never even seen his cave. Or the one near the Trapper's Homestead. I can't find his cave! Or the one at Clear cut. Again, can't find the cave.

Do these bears not have caves, or are they "Lone rangers"?

there is a bear cave behind the cabins on the righy side of mystery lake behind the cabins a bit to the rirgt 1/4 the way up

That never hit me until you pointed it out. I've seen all the other bear caves on ML, but not once did it cross my mind when he spawned at the Clearcut where his cave was I just accepted his presence lol.

Jiffy, Are you trolling? The cave near Trappers is a clearing between Deadfall Cabin and Max's Last Stand. On the Lake it is in the corner where you have a single cabin and IFH. The cave at Unamed Pond is to the left of the blind if you were coming from Trapper's.

Not trolling, I've genuinely never found them. I know of all the other caves in all the other regions, but for some reason I've never found them in Mystery Lake.

In 700 hours of play time, I have never seen this bear.

However, I have encountered Clear Cut bear numerous times.

Trapper's bear was my first bear kill...followed by the Clear Cut bear. I'm not sure I've ever taken out the lake bear.

He can be elusive, but not nearly as bad as the moose. No encounters in 700+ hours, that's crazy. Just ships passing in the night.

That guy just recently became my first arrow bear kill on Loper, I was super proud and slightly surprised when I found him next to Max a day later!

I actually killed the moose at unnamed pond cabin, after harvesting him, went to trappers and another moose was there waiting on me. I let him walk though while I went to Milton...of course he is long gone now

In ML bears don't have a proper cave, but an small den in rocks.
In TMW the bear of creek for Chrystal Lake just sleep on the ground, near cliffs wall - right of left rope point.

I believe that bear in Clear Cut is the one from Unnamed pound that sometimes move for this area. I have seem then returning for Unnammed Pond coming from direction of that lonely cabin with rabbits near.

That makes sense. I actually rarely see the bear in the clear cut area, but more oftne see the bear near the unnamed pond's cabin.

The one near lake trail is a big one, I guess you haven't played Hunted part?

Yep I've played The Hunted part 1 & 2, but that cave behind those houses aren't the bear cave? I've never even seen a bear remotely close to it in Survival mode.

early days before the story, I always thought Alan's cave belonged to a bear named Alan, but never saw a bear there, played the first two chapters of story before halloween and learn't who Alan was......still call bears Alan
