Yea totally love this spot too! I am currently living in the cave on marsh ridge just insidie Forlong Muskeg, so it is a short walk into Milton Basin and Hermit't Cabin. It the cabin was slightly more liveable then I would permanently stay there and in Milton Basin, but I simply don't have the gear to survive there at the moment.

There is also a nice little cave directly easy across the pond from hermits as well. That’s where I’m currently holed up. Basin is my favorite

I love that spot too! I so wish we could have an “intact” cabin there. When mods become a thing (when the game reaches that point and the devs allow for “legit” ones) I’m really hoping there will be a restored Hermits Cabin. Whenever I’m there I keep thinking about how pretty that area would be in summer. A big lake, fishing, canoeing, etc.

Looks like it. Only cave I’ve found down there but then again only been in the Basin a couple days.
