Feats Progression
Maybe I'm just not seeing it or something but how can I monitor my feats progression post 1.64 update?

For example, I'm yet to earn a firemaster one and I had something like 92-93% done. Now I can only see description.

Verify your game files? My Feats have progress meters and % completed showing on them. Haven't actually made enough progress on any of them to move them yet, but the bars are there.
Hello,

Could we get you to submit a ticket with a screenshot of the Feats screen? This will help us investigate what's going on, as the progress bar should still be there. Information on how to submit a ticket here, in case you need it: https://hinterlandgames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020142912-Reporting-Bugs

Well, this would be my 3rd time I've started the game since the update and now I can see progression bars for all the locked feats. Just as I was about to make a screenshot.

I'm sure they weren't there before so I guess it fixed itself?

Thank You for respone anyway :coffeeTLD:

Ok little update. After quick thinking back, seems you can see Feats progression in the Main Menu but NOT while you're creating a new game and choosing feats.

Hey Hinterland, similar issue here. So I'm currently checking this from my end, keen to gt the blizzard walker, I can see the progress bar and all, however it wasn't moving at all.

So I tried to begin with the idk-how-you-call-it snare 100 rabbits feat, and so far I have snared 7 of them (thank you trappers cabin). Anyways, I now checked it in the menu and it still says 0% progression. Could this be related to custom sandbox mode?

Cheers

Custom Settings disable Feat progression, been that way since they were added. And yes, there has been some considerable grumbling over it already. If you are playing a custom settings game, created yourself, or using a shared code, you will not earn Feats in them.

I got my badge for Blizzard Walker earlier today and there were times when the progress bar didn't budge at all when checking it after a blizzard and sometimes it would leap 3%. So, some inconsistency there, but I got the badge eventually. Not sure how it starts/stops the counter when calculating the length of a blizzard

does hanging out in outdoor caves count towards the feat?

I'd say yes. I've spent day and a half in an outdoor cave in Milton Basin and I got a slight bump in progression.

I want to know if like the Farmstead porch, the Maintenance Yard exterior, the Mountaineer’s Hut also count as “outside” for the purpose of the Blizzard Walker feat?

I feel like the Hut + MY ext. should because their temperatures match the outside. But I’m pretty skeptical about the Farmstead porch since it’s usually like an indoor temperature. I was staying at the Farmstead in PV last night and decided to hop outside the porch just to he safe...

I'm 100% sure Maintenance Yard exterior counts because I just spent 2 nights sleeping there to counter possible CF risk because I did extensive forging inside. And when I checked the progression was higher than before.

As for the Hut I wasn't there lately but iirc I did get CF risk while crafting there in past so I'd say it counts as interior hence it should not count for BW.

I realize this thread is old, but hopefully some has an answer I too experienced the same ive snared 68 rabbits and it shows 0 progress along afew other feats showing no progress. My game is custom BUT iam showing progress in other feats. Its like it is keeping track of the first 6 or so then 0 on the rest, as though there is a limit on how many it will do. If this is the case is there a way to chose which ones you want. Some of the ones i most want are not tracking progress. And theres no real point in pursuing them if you dont get credit. I guess it may be possible that as feats are accomplished the ones that are not be tracked start being tracked.

As far as I know you don't get any feat progress when playing custom.. I play custom almost exclusively and don't get progression to the feat I did not accomplished in some of vanilla experiences..

I don't get why they don't let it on custom, because you can get them playing pilgrim and I play without recovery loper and can't have progression.. But me, presonally don't care that much because I only use cold fusion and I already have this..
