For what i can see in many posts people think about they need to hunt big animals for survive, what is better than a big venison steak!
Well this not true, meat (and fish) have the lowest calories density and the highest dehydration factor (except the crackers).

For example
Moose meat (cooked) 900 cal / kg (409 cal / lb) dehydration -5%
Cat tail stalk 3000 cal / kg (1,364 cal / lb) dehydration 0%

For everyone Mosse meat is more inviting but this is a survival game ad with the same weight you can carry more than 3 times calories.
