Can't figure out what y'all mean by 'RNG', please enlighten
I realize one of you is about to make me feel like a complete idiot, but I for the life of me cannot figure what is meant by the acronym 'RNG' as it applies to this game, and context clues are not helping. I've been here at least three weeks and still can't figure it out. Someone please enlighten me. Something-New-Game?

It's like the chance of something happening. It is the random likelihood of chance whether something happens or not.

So when you try and light at fire with a 75% chance but fail 5 times in a row. The RNG is what decides if your fire light chance is successful or not. Hope that makes sense :)

RNG means Random Number Generator. For example, when you're sewing a pair of socks back together in this game and it's a 80% chance of completing it and a 20% chance of failing, right? When you click "Repair", the game uses the Random Number Generator in selecting if the 80% chance will happen, or the 20% chance will happen.

Sort of hard to explain. xD
