There are no batteries that could be used to "reload/recharge" the flashlights.
Instead, there is a natural phenomenon called "Aurora Borealis", "Lights in the sky", or just "Aurora". When an Aurora occurs (usually couple of times per month on a clear sky night, starting about 1 hour after sunset and ending couple hours before sunrise), electrical appliances come to life: Street lamps flicker, car lights flicker, computer and TV screens show light - and your flashlight can be turned on.
When turned on, it has the normal mode, or you can press and hold the right mouse button / one of the buttons on your controller to set it to "HIGH BEAM" mode. Supposedly, this high beam mode, which drains the battery much faster, can scare away wolves.
Note: during Aurora, wolves get a green glow and become more dangerous. Avoid struggling with wolves during aurora, it might be fatal.
But walk in Aurora nights is very bad idea, because wolves are not..."normal" wolves.
Anyway this flashlight can make 3 fishing hooks.

This is an interesting test of the highbeam on a bear.
