1.) Go the long way around via Derelict Cabins. Takes a while, but it's a clearly marked path. Probably best the first time you try this.
2.) Go to Draft Dodger's Cabin. Be fully rested and ideally have some coffee. Behind is a two stage rope climb to Skeeter's Ridge. They are long climbs, so you should drink some coffee after the first rope. From Skeeter's Ridge it's a straight line to Point of Disagreement. Or you can go into the direction of the hunting blind, which leads you more directly to the abandoned cache.
The issue with this is that the rope climb is very tiring and you can easily be left stranded on the ledge between the ropes if you're too tired. But on top you can rest in the basement if you have a bedroll (no bed there!)
3.) From the farm house head straight towards the left side on the map (in game the orientation is different). So from the orchards, over the bridge up into the hills and then follow the zone boundary. It's a bit iffy since you pass a bear cave that way
An alternative to going directly over the bridge is to follow the river and then walk up the shore before the bridge. That avoids the wolves in the fields.
4.) The foot path towards Burned Ridge cave doesn't exist anymore (the map is old). But you can still take a similar shortcut. Get to the other side of the bridge like in 3.) and go up the road a little. Then you can go very sharp right up the steep hill and kind of follow the ridge line up. It looks like you can't go up because it's too step, but going all the way into the direction of Skeeter's Ridge you slowly get higher. Then you can climb over and around some rocks and eventually get to the cave.
You will probably get lost the first time you try this :) It's also easy to miss the route you can actually get up and try to climb the hill too early. But it's my preferred way
no way any idea on these **reasons**
