BRA low don't spawn hatchet and knife.
I'm also in ML at the moment (Voyageur), and I've found five hatchets, five prybars and two rifles.
found the crowbar at the tunnel to muskeg, but no rifle anywhere. Ast leat now with hatchet I can make a bow and arrows.
Did you try Dave's Quiet Clearing - top of the right hand branch off Lake Trail?
I heard the dam might spawn one too, but I don’t go to the dam so I wouldn’t know, and like I said if the Weapon’s Prepper Cache spawns, there is garenteed to be 2 rifles in there, with weeks of ammo.
And if you use the dam passage there is Pleasent Valley, a lot of people hate PV apperently but I never do bad there; the farmstead is filled with loot and could be a base if you desire, the signal lookout is where I would recommend though, I have not not found a rifle there yet; I am actually really tempted to try to live there actually some game instead of the farmstead, since it has plenty of lockers and metal shelves for storage, workbench and bunk beds, fire barrel outside and it comes with it’s own paremeter fence. The reason I don’t think about PV though when in ML is the other route is a long trek to coastal, otherwise you have to go through the dam. From what I heard she has been removed in this version, although tbh I think that might be temporarily, but I am used to associating the dam with Fluffy and I really don’t want to deal with her anytime soon; expecially since I like to play Custom difficulties now and I often set wolf struggle values to Interloper standards, and Fluffy on Interloper from what I heard is the closest thing you can get in TLD to a boss fight.
