Apparently yes. It needs 5 bullets to be killed. Didn't test yet.

idk.. I thought the revolver was supposed to be more of a deterrent tool than a weapon, and although I've never run into a bear, I hear they're very strong! Far from unkillable, but like irl, more likely to reach you before your bullets can kill it.

Yeah. The Revolver's fire rate is pretty darn fast, and can make quick work of a bear if you're careful, have level 5 in shooting, and some luck.

I killed a bear with a revolver yesterday. It only took one shot in the head from 30m!
Went into the cabin an after one hour I had a bear carcass in the vicinity.

And I thought the revolver was for self defence… :D

I killed a bear with a revolver yesterday too. I was at DP just passing the Riken with some meat and guts in my inventory and when I walked past the ship I saw the bear walking towards me so I decided to go in to the ship and on it's deck and from there I shot the bear to the head with a revolver. It probably would have bled out from the single shot but since it ran in panic towards the ship again I took another shot at it to make it die faster. Some time later I found the bear dead close to the bridge near there.

Just killed one now and it took me only 2 bullets, was charging me but I stood my ground and pumped 2 perfect shots into it's head

it took me a bakers dozen at revolver level 1, I suppose most of them missed or hit the body area. It got me to the ground and when I got back up and bandaged I picked the revolver up from the snow reloaded and shot the rest of the ammo than it dropped in the charge.

Maybe b4 going after a bear with it take out plenty of rabbits so you can level it up

All you need is one shot then let it bleed out, but you need to hit and there needs to be a blood trail. There are several reasons why it would stop bleeding out or never have bled in the first place, but one shot can do it. Obviously if it is coming over so it can demonstrate its displeasure with being shot on your person, you can keep shooting.

Really? That's basically what I do to kill wolves. Stab them with a knife, and leave them for a few hours, rhebblook for crows.
